Grading Policy:

The student’s grade will be computed as a result of homework, weekly participation, assessments, quizzes, projects, and a final exam. The breakdown is:

50% -test
35% -classroom activities/Journal
15% final

The instructor will assign homework every day. Late homework is not excepted unless you have an excused absence.

There will be weekly Quizzes but will not always be announced beforehand. Therefore, students should be prepared by reviewing their notes and homework problems. Participation grades include class discussion, attendance, and cooperation during group work.

Students must show work to receive credit. The student needs to show the instructor the thought process used. Further, complete sentences must be used.

Grading Scale: 100-90% A 89-80% B 79-70% C 69-60% D 59% and below F
