1. biased: leaning toward one opinion over another for personal reasons; slanted or distorted

2. compulsory: required

3. inept: incompetent; not up to the task; bumbling

4. persistent: refusing to give up; stubborn

5. radical: favoring extreme change

6. surrogate: a substitute or stand-in

7. copious: abundant; plentiful

8. tenacious: tough; stubborn; not letting go

9. surreptitious: done or acting in a secret, sly manner; sneaky

10. voracious: an appetite for an activity or pursuit; eager to consume great amounts of food

11. officious: ready to serve; eager in offering unwanted services or advice

12. spurious: not genuine; false

2. scrutinize: to look at or examine closely

3. nomad: a wanderer who has no fixed home
