Welcome To My Web Page!
This year at Desert Shadows, we are "Lighting the Path to Excellence!" There are many new and exciting things happening here on campus, starting with our new 500 building, and the new benches, tables, and shades in the quad area of the school. I am continuing that idea with my brand new website! It has features that allow you to click on and find just about anything you need to know for my class, and for most of the campus events through my link to the Newspaper Club page.
If you are a 7th Grade student or parent, a click on the 7th Grade tab, you will be able to see what we are studying in class, homework assignments, and lessons and activities that are coming up. There is also a link to my syllabus so you can view how your grade is computed and other important information.
If you are an 8th Grade student or parent, click on the 8th Grade tab and see what we are doing in class right now, and in the future. You can also take a look at past assignments in case you missed school and need to catch up. I also have posted some homework helpers to help you complete your homework accurately and on time.
When you first walk into my room, you will notice that I love flags. I have five life-size replicas of historical and current flags from different points in American History. I also love books, music, and collecting stamps and baseball cards.
Parents are always welcome to come check out a class and contribute to the discussion, or learn about an area of history you are particularly interested in!
